2027: Ikwuano Councilors Adopt Governor Otti for Re-election

Members of the 7th Ikwuano Legislative Councilors have thrown their weight behind the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti for reelection in 2027.

The councilors adopted governor Otti during plenary on Thursday.

The motion was moved by the Majority Leader and member representing Ariam Ward, Mr Sunday Chimankpam Felix and was supported by the Minority Leader, Mr Ukazu Ejike, acknowledging the Governor’s impactful work in infrastructure development, agricultural sector growth, Healthcare facilities improvement and Education enhancement.

The councillors commended the Governor for steering Abia State towards progress and thanked him for rescuing the state from what they described as ineffective leadership. They pledged their full support for his re-election in 2027.
