ENUGU STATE MAKES ENTRY INTO INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR, FREE
In a move to encourage more participants at the 36th Enugu International Trade Fair, the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) has thrown the gate open, free of charge.
The Director General of ECCIMA, Uche Chukwu Mbah confirmed this to newsmen.
“There is no pass, it is gate free.”
Other members of ECCIMA including Chief Emma Nwankpa and Engr. Nonye Osakwe in separate interviews as well agreed with the Director General, adding that the move was to encourage more participants at the fair.
On his part, Osakwe said, “We want to do ‘Christmas’ for people. The money with which they would have used to buy a ticket, they use it to transport themselves to the Fair.”
Contributing, Nwankpa added, “Things are hard in the country and we want to help people access the Fair.”
