“Dr Christopher Okoro Is A Digital Rector ” — SUG President

The Student Union Government (SUG), of the Dr Ogbonnaya Ọnụ Polytechnic Aba has expressed delight in the infrastructural upgrade in the institution by the administration of the Rector, Dr Christopher Kalu Okoro, with support from the Abia State Government, under Governor Alex Otti.

Speaking to Dreamnews on Wednesday in Aba, the SUG president, Comrade Ifeanyi Michael Maduka categorically commended Governor Alex Otti for appointing Dr C.K Okoro as the Rector of th Polytechnic, whom he described as “God-sent”.

“Firstly, I want to thank His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti (O.F.R) the Executive Governor of Abia State for sending a “god-sent” to us at Dr Ogbonnaya Ọnụ Polytechnic Aba, in the persn of Engineer, Dr. Christopher Kalu Okoro, “the digital Rector”, a man that transformed ABia Poly in the space of a year. I so much appreciate his good work.

According to Comrade Maduka, apart from the infrastructural development, the Rector Dr Kalu Okoro has also improved work relationships among staff, as well as student-lecturer relationship which he said has helped students of the institution to relax their minds and focus on their studies.

Comrade Maduka said the transformation in the school in less than two years took everyone by surprise, while expressing gratitude to the Rector and Governor Alex Otti for what they have achieved together.

He further stated that Dr Christopher Kalu Okoro is a listening Rector whom he said does not discriminate and one who finds time to attend to the needs of the students.

“Our Rector, Dr Christopher Kalu has time to attend to all the lecturers and all the students. Anytime any student calls him, he will always answer. He is there for us, and he has a cordial relationship with us. He is there 100%.”

He called on Abians and residents to throw their wait behind the present administration in the state in order to sustain the tempo of development in the state.
