“There’s No Better Way To Thank Governor Otti Than To Return Him To The Government House In 2027” — Prof. Okoro Kalu

The Rector of Ogbonnaya Ọnụ Polytechnic Aba, Prof. Christopher Kalu Okoro has hailed the people of Abam Onyerubi for the massive turnout to receive the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti on Friday February 13, 2026.

Speaking to Dreamnews on the sidelines of the grand Civic Reception organized by the good people of Abam Onyerubi in honour of Governor Alex Otti at Abam High School field, Prof Okoro said the Mammoth crowd that turned out is an expression of the love and support the people have for the governor.

Prof. Okoro noted that there was no other way to appreciate the governor for his good works in Abia State than return him to the government house in 2027.

He said the people of Abam are battle ready for the 2027 elections, having already equipped themselves with their Permanent Voters’ Cards.

Prof Okoro cited the five hundred million naira donation by Abam Onyerubi to support the governor as a demonstration of what they have in stock for the Abia Governor.

“You can see the massive crowd here today. That is to tell you that our people love the governor, His Excellency Dr Alex Otti and will continue to support him as he delivers more dividends of democracy to Ndi Abia”.

“This reception is just a token of our appreciation for the governor. The just commissioned Omenuko bridge and the Abam-Arochukwu Road is a big gift to our people and we can’t thank His Excellency enough”.

“He has really done a lot for our people and there’s no better way to thank the governor than to return him to the Government House in 2027”.

“Abam Onyerubi is battle ready for that task ahead. We have equipped ourselves with our Permanent Voters’ Cards and still call on those who are yet to register to do so”.

“As part of our resolve to make sure he continues till 2031, you heard when it was announced. We just donated N500 million naira to His Excellency Dr Alex Otti for his reelection in 2027”.

“Come 2027, our votes will go to His Excellency”.
