Governance, Entrepreneurship to Take Centre Stage as NIM Holds South-east Zonal Summit in Enugu …. *Abia PDP Guber Candidate, Dr. Kelechi Anosike, to Deliver Keynote
Abia State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for 2027 election, Dr. Kelechi Anosike, will deliver the keynote address at the South-East Zonal Summit of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) holding in Enugu this Thursday.
Dr. Anosike, who holds a Doctorate Degree in Law and practices as an International Commercial Lawyer, is also a renowned Governance and Public Policy Expert.
He is expected to set the tone for the summit with practical ideas on governance reforms and entrepreneurial revival in the South-East.
The summit themed “65 Years of Management Excellence: Reimagining Institutions of Governance and Entrepreneurship in the South East” will hold on August14, 2026, at the CBN Centre of Excellence Auditorium, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus by 10am.
Dr. Anosike is expected to also propound practical strategies for repositioning South-East institutions for accountability, economic growth, and private sector-driven development, drawing from his experience in law, governance and public policy.

Other distinguished speakers expected at the summit include Dr. Henry I. Onaga, who will present the lead paper, and Dr. Sylva Afe Oshiopkehai, CEO, Clos Methods Ltd, who will also present a lead paper on entrepreneurship and institutional transformation.
The President and Chairman of Council of NIM, Commodore Abimbola Ayuba (Rtd.), FNIM, will lead the national delegation to the summit. He will be joined by Dr. Umar Musa Mustapha, FNIM, Deputy President; Mrs. Taiwo Ganiyat Olusesi Ph.D, MNIM, Registrar/Chief Executive; and Mrs. Clara Ijeoma Okere, National Treasurer.
The host of the South-East zone, Prof. Jude Njoku, FNIM, South East Zonal Chairman, said the summit is part of NIM’s 65 years of promoting management excellence in Nigeria. He noted that the South-East, with its strong tradition of enterprise, requires stronger institutions of governance to unlock its full economic potential.
According to the organizers, the summit will bring together CEOs, public sector managers, entrepreneurs, academics, and young professionals to dialogue on leadership, innovation, and policy reforms needed to reposition the zone for investment and job creation.
The visit of the NIM President and National Executives to Enugu is also expected to strengthen the Institute’s presence and membership drive across the South-East.
All managers, business owners, and stakeholders in governance and entrepreneurship in the South-East are invited to attend.
