Ndoki Students Honour Ex-Abia SSG, Ralph Egbu,for Leadership, Service …. *Students Describe Him as ‘Bridge Builder’ Who Treats Asa, Ndoki as One People

A former Secretary to the Abia State Government, Pastor Ralph Egbu, has been honoured with a Leadership Award by the National Association of Ndoki Students, NANS, Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba, for his contributions to governance and community development.

The award was presented at the weekend by a delegation of the association led by its President, Comrade Felix Ubani.
The students described Pastor Egbu as a leader whose life reflects honesty, humility, patriotism and unwavering commitment to public service.
They said the recognition was for both the offices he had occupied and the values he had upheld over the years.
“Throughout his career in public service, Pastor Egbu earned widespread respect for transparent leadership, an unblemished record, and a principled approach to governance,” Ubani said.
The association noted that although Egbu hails from Asa in Ukwa West LGA, his love and commitment have extended to every part of Ukwa land.
“Stories of his uncommon affection for the Ndoki people are widely known across the area. He has demonstrated time and again that there is no distinction between Asa and Ndoki. Both are one people united by a common history, heritage and destiny,” the students said.

They commended him for promoting peace and unity between Ukwa East and Ukwa West, mentoring young people, and providing wise counsel. They described him as “a bridge builder who has continually placed the collective interest of Ukwa above sectional considerations.”

The students urged the elder statesman to continue working with other patriotic sons and daughters of Ukwa to advance development in the federal constituency, especially in education, infrastructure, youth empowerment and economic opportunities.
Receiving the award, Pastor Egbu expressed gratitude to the association and dedicated the honour to God and to all who had supported his years of public service.
He commended the students for promoting excellence and community service, describing them as “the future of Ukwa and the hope of a stronger and more prosperous society.”

“The progress of Ukwa East and Ukwa West can only be achieved through unity of purpose, mutual respect, visionary leadership and sustained collaboration,” he said.
Pastor Egbu pledged to continue supporting efforts aimed at advancing the welfare of the people, strengthening unity across Ukwa land, and creating opportunities for future generation.
