Chief Emeka Kalu Blows Hot As Politicians Gang Up Against Otti

A Labour Party Chieftain in Abia, Chief Emeka Kalu has expressed confidence in the Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti, saying no amount of political gang up against the governor would yield positive results.

Chief Kalu who was reacting to the threat issued by a team of former governors of Abia State and political appointees between 1999 and 2023 to unseat Otti in 2027, said Governor Otti has nothing to worry because according to him, the people of Abia are rooting for him.

Speaking to Tony Saturday, Chief Kalu said Dr Alex Otti has already finished his campaigns through his massive developmental projects across the state.

He wondered what the team would sell to Abians to convince them to vote against Otti.

“Governor Otti has nothing to fear or worry about. Those people are speaking as politicians and they have the right to campaign for their party. But one thing is certain, Governor Alex Otti has done his own campaign in the last 30 months.”

“The big question is, what are they going to tell Abians? What will they sell to Ndi Abia to convince them to vote against Governor Otti?”

“Abians are behind the Governor. They love him. They love what he’s doing already. When the campaign starts proper, Governor Otti will just point at his projects.”

“Can they go to Port Harcourt Road and campai? Can they go to Isị Gate Umuahia and campaign? The governor has one project or the other in every word.”

“The threat will amount to nothing because,c the last time I checked, elections are not done on social media or on the pages of newspapers and TV and radio studios.”

“They can gather as many microphones as they like, when the time comes,the ballots from Abians will speak.”
