Governor Otti Has Earned The Trust And Confidence Of Abians— Chief Emeka Kalu

A Labour Party Chieftain in Abia, Chief Emeka Kalu has asserted that the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti has earned himself the trust and confidence of Abians based on his Stella performance in the last thirty months as the Executive Governor of Abia State.

Chief Kalu made the assertion on Monday, January 5, 2025 while fielding questions from newsmen in his country home in Bende, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.

His comment is coming on the heels of the political tension that has enveloped the state and the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Responding to the question of who takes the Abia top job, Chief Kalu said winning a second term by the governor is a no-brainer.

“Those who are gunning for the office of the Chief Executive of Abia State should not bother wasting their resources in 2027. Governor Otti has earned the trust, love and confidence of Abians and this will be expressed on the ballots”.

“That Dr Alex Otti, OFR, will return to the government house in 2027 is “a no-brainer””.

“Looking at his achievements in the last thirty months of his administration, on can only conclude that he was prepared for the job before offering himself to serve the people.”

“His scorecard has surpassed all the three previous administrations in the state put together, within a short period in office.”

“How else do you know a good leader? Dr Alex Otti has redefined administration in the state. We have not had it this good before now.”

“Look at what he’s doing in the health sector, education, infrastructure, transportation and every sector of the economy.”

“It will be a great disservice to Abians if Dr Alex Otti is not on the ballot and of course returned to the government house in 2027.”

He called on Abians to rally round the Governor and ensure victory in 2027, adding that the Governor has all it takes to win any election anytime, because according to him, Governor Otti has become a movement himself and would win, irrespective of political party.

He opined that whereever the governor goes, Abians go with him.
