“The People of Abam has Made 2027 Journey Easier” — Chief Iheanyi Chinasa
Reactions have continued to trail the commissioning of the iconic Omenuko bridge and the Abam-Arochukwu road by Governor Alex Otti.
Speaking on Sunday, the Abia State Chief Liaison Officer Chief Iheanyi Chinasa has commended Governor Otti for his timely intervention in rescuing the road.
Chief Chinasa, commended the good people of Abam Onyerubi for what he described as an intimidating reception organized in honour of the Governor, capped by a donation of whooping five hundred million naira (N500 million) to support the reelection bid of the governor.
He posited that the gesture by the people of Abam Onyerubi is a challenge to Ndi Abia, adding that such a gesture is worthy of emulation.
He called on the people not to stop at the grand reception but go a little further by encouraging the people to register and obtain their Permanent Voters’ Cards to complete the work in 2027.
“The people of Abam Onyerubi have demonstrated beyond imagining, what it means to appreciate good work”.
“I commend the intimidating reception they organized for His Excellency, Dr Alex Otti. They didn’t stop there, they went ahead to donate money for the purchase of expression of interest and nomination form for 2027. A whooping five hundred million naira, that’s unprecedented!”
“They have made the 2027 journey easier. They have shown that their vote for the governor is not in doubt. The governor does not need to campaign in Abam. He has already won”.
“I urge them to go further to drive for the people to register and obtain their Permanent Voters’ Cards and complete the job”.
