“Your vote remains the only electoral means to enthroning a candidate of your choice”, Abia Lawmaker urges constituents

The member representing Umuahia Central State Constituency in the Abia State house of assembly, Hon. Anthony Chinasa (Abiola) has lent his voice to the call to Abians and his constituents in particular to participate actively in the ongoing INEC’s Continuous Voters Registration exercise (CVR).

Hon. Anthony stated this in reaction to the controversy surrounding the compulsory electronic transmission of election results.

According to him, active participation of the citizens in the electoral process and taking responsibility when necessary is the principal thing. The Lawmaker posited that it is only when “you are equipped with your PVC that you can convincingly say no to election rigging”.

The Lawmaker who believes that power still belongs to the people encouraged Abia electorates to use their PVC wisely come 2027 to re-elect performing political office holders.
