Abia Govt Announces Release of Letters of Posting of Teachers

The Abia State Government has announced the official release of letters of posting for the newly recruited teachers into the state school system.

This is coming after a rigorous but transparent recruitment process that stretched into months which climaxed with a two day orientation programme for Successful applicants.

A press release dated July 28, 2025 endorsed by the Honourable Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education in Abia State, Elder Goodluck Ubochi advised the teachers to report to their places of posting on or before September 1, 2035.

The release acknowledged that some maybe posted outside their local government of residence or origin as stated in their application for the reason the schools in those areas would not accommodate a certain number of teachers.

It further advised anyone who has good reason to be reposted to call the Ministry’s help line on 0913444706 or 09135007067 or use the complaint link on their dashboard, stating the reason for reposting.

It added that reposting is not guaranteed as stated in the offer letter that the teachers could be posted to any part of the state.
