Abuja Erupts In Joy As Abia Free Buses Convey Abia Indegenes
Abians living in Abuja have expressed delight over the free buses by the Abia State government to convey Abia indegenes in the capital who want to travel to the South East for the Christmas and new year celebrations.
Speaking to Dreamnews on the phone, Mr Clement Kalu thanked Governor Alex Otti for the initiative, saying the gesture has taken the burden off their shoulders.

Mrs Ebere Nwankwo said her family didn’t want to travel initially due to the high cost of transportation but the free buses made her change her mind.
Some of them shared videos of the buses loading and leaving Abuja for the South East.

The Abia Chief Liaison Officer at the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, who is coordinating the programme in Abuja on behalf of the Abia State government said the move was part of broader efforts by the Dr Alex Otti’s administration to make life easier for Ndi Abia even those living outside the state.
He said a similar thing is also happening in Lagos and other parts of the country.
