JUST IN: ANOTHER ABIA LAWMAKER DUMPS PDP, JOINS LP

The member representing Isuikwuato state constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Lucky Johnson on Tuesday resigned his membership of the main opposition parties, Peoples Democratic Party, PDD and joined the ruling Labour Party in the state.

In a letter dated March 18, 2025, and addressed the the Speaker of the house, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa, the lawmaker cited division in the PDP as reason for dumping the party.

Hon Johnson said his decision was arrived at, after due consultation with his constituents, and in recognition of the sterling performance of Governor Alex Otti, he has picked up the membership of the Labour party and now become a member of the Labour Party(LP).
