Legal Luminary Launches “The Abia Patriots” To Advance Development

A non-partisan group, The Abia Patriots (TAP), has been launched in Abia, with the mission of defending the development and advancement of Abia State, while contending against perceived elements of underdevelopment and retrogression.

Convened by renowned legal luminary, Barr. Monday Ubani, SAN, the group was inaugurated in response to the need to checkmate the activities of anti-people agents in the state.

Speaking at the launch, Barr. Ubani stated that TAP’s formation became imperative due to the need to seize the moment and maximize the current administration’s efforts to fast-track the state’s development.

“We are not affiliated with any political party or group. We are simply patriotic Abians from the 17 Local Government Councils of the state who believe in the progress, advancement, and speedy development of our state,” he said.

Barr. Ubani explained that TAP would work tirelessly to showcase the good work being done by the Governor Otti’s administration while condemning every effort to distract the government.

“We will be at the forefront of defending the progressive development of the state. Abia is in a hurry to catch up with other states and has no time for divisive politics,” he emphasized.

The group called on all Abians who share their vision for a better Abia State to join hands with them in achieving their objectives.

“We urge all Abians to join us and work together to ensure that our state reaches its full potential. We need volunteers who are passionate about the progress of our state to team up with us and help us achieve our objectives,” Barr. Ubani appealed.

The launch of The Abia Patriots marks a new chapter in the history of Abia State, and it is expected that the group’s efforts will yield positive results in the state’s development trajectory.
