Police partners DSS to enhance security in Abia

The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa has highlighted the importance of Inter-Agency collaboration particularly in intelligence gathering and crime prevention.

CP Danladi Isa made the statement on Friday, April 25, 2025, when he received a delegation of the Department of State Services (DSS), Abia State Command, led by the State Director of Security, Ibrahim S. Abdullahi, who paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police at the State Command Headquarters Umuahia.

Earlier, Ibrahim S. Abdullahi, who recently assumed office as the State Director of Security, acknowledged the Police as the lead internal security agency and expressed his commitment to fostering collaboration with the Police. He further stated that the purpose of the visit was to deepen inter-agency relations and enhance synergy between the Police and the Department of State Services.
