THE ABIA PATRIOTS APPLAUDS INITIATORS OF ABA COMMERCIAL SMART CITY PROJECT
A Rights Group, The Abia Patriots TAP has applauded the Abia State Government and its partners for the groundbreaking Aba Commercial Smart City (ACSC) project, a Public-Private Investment Partnership (PPIP) initiative which according to them is poised to transform Abia State and the entire South East region.
Their commendation is contained in a statement on Wednesday, signed by its Secretary General, Mazi Adindu Madumere and made available to newsmen.
The statement cited Governor Alex Otti’s assurance of secure returns for investors and the creation of over 150,000 direct and indirect jobs.
“This project is not just about infrastructure; it’s about jobs, wealth creation, technology transfer, and restoring Aba’s pride of place as the manufacturing capital of Nigeria,”
TAP said the ACSC would unlock massive economic opportunities for artisans, traders, manufacturers, professionals, and service providers, while expanding Abia State’s internally generated revenue base.
“The project will also stimulate industrial growth, attract foreign and local investment, reduce unemployment, and create a structured ecosystem for businesses to thrive”.
“We commend Governor Otti and his team for their pragmatic leadership and clear economic vision”.
“We urge promoters of the PPP project to grab this opportunity to showcase Aba’s inert potentials to the world.”
TAP believes ACSC will have a far-reaching impact on the South East region, serving as a national commercial nerve centre, supporting supply chains, and strengthening Nigeria’s position in regional trade within Africa.
“We urge all stakeholders to support this initiative, which promises inclusive growth, industrial revival, and sustainable urban development,”
