In the spirit of Valentine’s Day celebration, the Abia State Chief Liaison Officer, Chief Iheanyi Chinasa felicitates with his Bende constituents and the entire Abians as they join the rest of the world to celebrate the day.

In a goodwill message he personally signed on Saturday February 14, 2026, Chief Chinasa reminded Ndi Bende and Ndi Abia of the essence of the day which he said is a day set aside to honour love, sacrifice, and shared commitment.

“As we celebrate this year’s Valentine’s Day, a day set aside to honour love, sacrifice, and shared commitment, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt appreciation to you all”.

Chief Chinasa, also known as Agu Bende reminded his constituents that the love should go beyond between individuals, rather stretched to “collective love for our community and our state”.

“Valentine’s Day is not only about affection between individuals; it is also a reminder of the power of collective love for our community and our state. I sincerely commend the people of Bende and Abia for the unwavering love, trust, and support you have continued to show towards the administration of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, Governor of Abia State”.

“Under the purposeful leadership of Alex Otti, our state has witnessed a renewed spirit of accountability, infrastructural development, and governance driven by the interest of the people. The visible strides being recorded today are a testament to what can be achieved when leadership meets the genuine support of the governed”.

“Your sacrifices, patience, and belief in this new Abia project are the true expressions of love for our dear state. As we continue on this path of rebuilding and transformation, I urge us all to remain steadfast, united, and supportive. The journey to a prosperous Abia requires collective sacrifice, mutual understanding, and sustained commitment”.

“Let us, therefore, make love for Abia our guiding principle—love expressed through lawful conduct, civic responsibility, and continued support for policies and reforms that will secure a brighter future for our children”.

“Together, we shall build an Abia that works for everyone”.
