U.S Senator, Ted Cruz Lauds Governor Otti

U.S senator, Ted Cruz has applauded the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti for his developmental projects in the South Eastern Nigerian state, describing him as a true leader with a “defined vision”.

This was disclosed by the Abia State Chief Liaison Officer, Chief Iheanyi Chinasa in a chat with Dreamnews correspondent on Wednesday after an interaction with Mr Cruz and other politically exposed persons.

The discussion with Ted Cruz took place in far away United States of America on the security situation in Nigeria.

Mr Cruz said the news of Governor Otti’s purposeful leadership vibrates “all over the place”, describing Abia as a global brand.

“We’ve got our soldiers in Nigeria to help the Nigerian military win the war against terrorism and religious extremism. We know that there are states in Nigeria that have relative peace, such as Abia. The Governor there, Alex Otti has the security there wrapped around his fingers”.

“His administration’s progress vibrates all over the place. We really appreciate that. The U.S Congress will always support positive steps that will protect our brothers in any part of the world”.

“President Donald Trump is intentional about his policies and we will give our support to things that will make the world a better place”.

The Republican senator said peace is an important factor that attracts investments while encouraging the Nigerian government to do more to protect the Nigerian people against religious extremism.
