“Otti is a God-sent Messenger to rescue Abia” — Agwụ U Agwụ

The Chairman of the Governing Council of Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU), Rt. Hon. Agwụ U Agwụ, has hailed the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti for his visionary leadership and prioritizing peoples welfare over politics.

Hon Agwụ said the administration of Governor Alex Otti has restored hope and dignity of Abians at home and in diaspora.

Speaking to Dreamnews on Thursday, the former lawmaker said the transformation initiatives of the governor have redefined infrastructure development in Abia State.

His comment is coming on the heels of the newly constructed Omenuko bridge and the Abam-Arochukwu road, set to be commissioned on Friday, February 13, 2026.

The commissioning of the historic Omenuko bridge will be followed by a Grand Civic Reception in honour of the governor at Abam High School.

According to him, Abia State has never had it this better, adding that Governor Otti is a God-sent Messenger to rescue Abia from the doldrums of misrule, infrastructure decay, economic dungeon and hopeless state.

He congratulated Ndi Abia on the occasion of the commissioning, enjoining the people to throw their weight behind the Governor for more democracy dividends.
